New E.C.D. / Turismo 001 Production Defender Build

Turismo Auto Group is excited to announce a new collaboration with ECD Automotive Design to create a fully bespoke Custom Heritage Defender 110 Hard Top. ECD Automotive Design is globally recognized as one of the premier builders of restored and reimagined Land Rover Defenders. Based in Florida, ECD has earned a reputation for producing meticulously handcrafted Defenders that blend classic Land Rover heritage with modern engineering, luxury materials, and highly individualized specifications. Each vehicle is built to order through an extensive design process, resulting in vehicles that are equal parts collector piece and daily driver.

Through this partnership, Turismo has commissioned a unique Heritage Defender build that reflects both classic Defender styling and carefully selected modern upgrades. The build is centered around a TD5-powered Defender 110 Hard Top combining the mechanical character of the original platform with improved drivability and performance. The exterior will be finished in AMG Silver with a Santorini Black roof and accents, complemented by 18-inch Sawtooth wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KO3 tires and subtle heritage-inspired details throughout the bodywork.

Inside, the Defender will feature a fully bespoke interior trimmed in Buffalo Distressed Cuoio leather with cream contrast stitching and a diamond stitch pattern. Corbeau Sport seats will be used for both the front and middle rows, with traditional inward-facing jump seats in the rear load area to maintain the classic Defender layout. The cabin will also feature a leather-wrapped dash and door cards, a woodgrain steering wheel, Pioneer audio with powered subwoofer, Bluetooth connectivity, remote start, and a digital rearview mirror—blending classic aesthetics with modern comfort and technology.

We look forward to sharing additional photos and build progress as this custom Defender comes to life, representing the beginning of what we hope will be an exciting collaboration between Turismo Auto Group and ECD Automotive Design.
